Stephanie Chang – First Asian American Woman Elected to Michigan State House

Stephanie Chang made history in 2014 when she became the first Asian-American woman elected to the Michigan State House. This year, she handily won re-election and stood out as a vocal critic of hate crimes that sprouted up across Michigan.

Stephanie was recently featured in Huffington Post as being part of the next generation of inspiring female leaders, alongside rising Democratic national stars Kamala Harris, Tammy Duckworth, and others.
