CNN’s Flagship Sunday show, “State of the Union” with Jake Tapper generally features serious guests showcasing serious issues. Not today. Jake Tapper invited White House Spokesperson Stephen Miller to come on set and help shine a light on whether President Trump is fit for the office. He lasted no more than a few minutes, and Tapper cut the interview short while Miller was still trying to talk over him.
Watch this video below for the moment when he’s cut off:

Now we’ll talk about a little more of the meat from the interview. You can see that Stephen Miller has no interest in dealing with reality or operating under the same set of facts as others. He calls Trump a genius, says he’s tapped into magic in the hearts of Americans, and that Trump is one of the smartest people he knows.
Tapper, naturally, replies Trump’s approval rating is in the 30s and he’s more interested in talking about his fitness for the office. Miller replies, he’s interested in discussing Jake Tapper’s fitness(!). Sorry, Steve, you can’t push propaganda and then try to what-a-about on live television.
Jake Tapper was having NONE of it. Here’s more of Stephen Miller’s meltdown:

In a classic return from break, Tapper had cleared the set, reintroduced the program and declared, “Welcome back to Planet Earth”. For the full video, head on over to CNN and watch it here.
